Bruce Sharrock
Bruce Sharrock was born and raised in Waitara, Taranaki playing football for local clubs as well as his school, Waitara High. He moved to Auckland to advance his career in the finance sector, and at a relatively young age was managing a large team of financial sales staff for AMP Insurance. Whilst continuing his career in finance and insurance, he doubled as a manager for professional rugby players and jockeys. After 10 years in finance and partnering a successful nation-wide retail chain, Bruce moved permanently into the professional sports management field. Bruce has a comprehensive knowledge of the NZRPA/NZRU Players Collective, as well as the New Zealand rugby structure and contractual landscape. He is an accredited NZRPA Player Agent and possesses a proven reputation for honesty and effective negotiation within the Australasian rugby industry, whereby he benefits from his vast array of contacts. Bruce is also an accredited NRL agent who possesses an in-depth knowledge of the NRL rules and regulations. Bruce’s passion for assisting sports people to live their dream shows in his holistic management style, developing life plans for clients both on and off the field.
Bruce’s negotiation and planning skills have proven invaluable when working with our marketing division, successfully aligning sport and business by fostering and securing mutually beneficial partnerships with key stakeholders.
